The Golfito area is not a peaceful and amazing fishing community, it also an expanding town full of color and interesting locations. Located in the southern side of Costa Rica, it is very close to the Panama boarder. Playa Zancudo and Pavones are the most wanted locations for surfers: small beach towns with a passive and romantic environment are great for relaxing moments and stunning waves. Golfito itself is known for excellent sport fishing, great adventures in a great location. The best way to get to Golfito is to fly from San Jose but if you drive you will enjoy amazing sightseeing and experience quite a few weather changes during the 7 hour drive.
