Finca Siboney is located in the mountains about 35 km SW of San José, just outside the center of of Santiago, Puriscal, in the village of La Legua. The finca comprises 47 acres (20 hectares) and is a working farm with approximately 4 hectares under coffee production, 2 hectares with caña (sugar cane) and cameroon grass (for horse feed) and 6-8 hectares of grazing land for horses. There are two small rivers (quebradas) on the property with year-round water and from one, water is pumped to the stable area.

The main house (350 sq. mtr), (completed 1995) is built in Santa Fé style with three bedrooms and three bathrooms, large open kitchen with fireplace and large living /dining room, also with fireplace and opening on to a terrace overlooking the mountains towards the Pacific. The house has a double garage, staff quarters and laundry area. There are wood floors throughout the house, with the exception of the kitchen and bathrooms which have ceramic tile.

There are also two other houses on the property, one of which is a small two store building used as a guest house by the owners. It has one bedroom, 1 1/2 baths, sun porch and living/dining area with small open kitchen. The second house (2000) (approx. 90 sq. mtr.) was originally constructed as an office (and could easily be re-converted) but is now used as a guest house/rental cottage. It has two bedrooms, bathroom, large living/dining room and open kitchen. It has a large terrace on three sides overlooking the mountains.

Farm buildings include 8 horse stables and one falling stall. A galeron (barn) houses tack room, (possible) staff quarters with bathroom, storage rooms (3) and an area for storing and cutting caña/grass with machinery. There is a good sized rancho with water and electricity and a wood-burning stove. The foreman lives of the property with his family in sight of the main gate.

A chanchera (pig sties) for 6 pigs, below the stable area, was completed in 2006 and is fully operational for the breeding of pigs. A very well designed septic system was built for this structure to completely contain the odors. This structure also has a small storage bodega.

There are mango, guava, banana, lemon and orange trees on the property.
