There are very few properties which hold title within the first 200 meters of beachfront in Costa Rica. Special laws apply which do not require CONCESSION, as in most beachfront in Costa Rica.

It was remodeled in 2005, and since opening with it's new face, name, and clientele, it has been a steady money maker. The structures include a bar/restaurant with office and 5 beachfront deluxe rooms, and 4 standard rooms, all with air conditioning, private baths w/ hot water.

There is also a 4 bedroom house with carport with entrance on the upper side, in front of the town plaza, and back deck and yard overlooking the waterfront. The business, historically, was a local budget hotel for many many years, always with steady flow of clients due to it's location. However, the current owners did a total renovation of the place and reopened with fewer rooms, of higher quality, and a bar and restaurant that is not only a tourist attraction, but very popular with the locals as well.

The current fare is Mexican food, with a few American favorites also on the menu. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and a Monday night football bocas feast To be able to sit in a restaurant and watch the waterfront is a special feature of this place. Another special feature is the fact that this is a TITLED WATERFRONT PROPERTY! That means that it is outside of the Maritime Zone law.

The business is "a money maker" in the words of the current owner, who is willing to show the books to a serious buyer.
