When you Visit Volcan Turrialba Lodge, you will find much to do, so it is better that you plan to stay several days. Just to be able to walk the area surrounding the lodge, and visit the Turrialba Volcano will lead you to many adventures and much fun. The Lodge offers a collection of Costa Rican literature and table games for you to enjoy.

There are many attractions around the area including volcanoes, cloud forest, and tropical forest. You can travel through the tropical forest and find the Turrialba Volcano’s former lava rivers. When the first of the old lava beds of Turrialba Volcano is skirted it leads to Braulio Carrillo National Park. Even climbing to the peak of the volcano will be a great adventure, as well as having the opportunity to ride a horse into or walk in the crater of this dormant volcano. Around the area, besides flora, you will find bird species such as hummingbirds, toucans, quetzals and more. Mountain biking and hiking are some of the activities you can enjoy in this paradise.
