The Volcan Turrialba Lodge is a mountain hotel located in Turrialba, Cartago. The lodge sits on a strip of land below and between the Turrialba and Irazu Volcanoes, about 2 miles (3 km) from Esparza, and 5 miles (8km) northwest of Santa Cruz. The lodge offers comfort and relaxation, along with the twin volcanoes that are an amazing attraction for many tourists.

Turrialba Volcano is Costa Rica’s most easterly volcano which is a dormant giant and part of the Irazu’s massif. This volcano is one of the most accessible in the world. You can actually ascend to the peak of the volcano, walk in its crater, and have the opportunity to get great panoramic views of the country 11,148 feet (3,328 meters) above sea level.

Some of the views you will be able to get are from the Irazu, Barva and Poas Volcanoes are the Atlantic Coast and all of its plains, the Central Valley and the highest mountain chain in the country, Talamanca, located south of the Turrialba Volcano.
