Totem Beach Resort is a picturesque hotel located just 1 mile south of the enchanting and colorful town of Puerto Viejo, right in front of the stunning Cocles Beach, which was awarded with the Blue Flag for its impeccable beauty and cleanliness. Totem Beach Resort features 12 Standard Rooms with magnificent views of the tropical gardens and 2 Junior Suites. There are 6 Beach Front Suites, each one with its own private plunge pool and spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean. The hotel has a relaxed and laid-back atmosphere with a touch of sophistication, where you can enjoy yourself and the surrounding biodiversity. The lush gardens boast a Jacuzzi and a relaxation area, which is the perfect place to get in harmony with the sounds and sights of the jungle.

Totem Beach Resort is located close to two National Parks of incredible beauty and exotic flora and fauna. The Gandoca Manzanillo National Park is located only 7.5 miles from the hotel and the Cahuita National Park is 12.5 miles away. The hotel sits on Cocles Beach which is one of the best surfing spots in the Caribbean Coast. The front desk is open from 6 am to 8 pm and there is also a souvenir and surf shop in case you forgot something back at home or if you want to buy new surfing gear to enjoy the most amazing beach break in the area. The Italian restaurant Mediterraneo is open for breakfast from 7:30 am until 10 am and then it opens again at 12 pm and closes at 10 pm. This two-story restaurant has a magnificent terrace overlooking the ocean where you can enjoy your favorite drinks and the most amazing Italian food you have ever tasted before.
