Location and Driving Directions

Hotel Suerre Caribbean Beach is located in Punta Uva, only 10 minutes south of Puerto Viejo in Limon. To get here by car you need to take Route 32 (San Jose - Guapiles). This road requires good driving skills and constant attention as the constant fog and rain when passing through Braulio Carrillo National Park have produced landslides along the road. Just be careful when you drive to Limon but the trip is definitely worth it. You will travel for 104 miles (168 km) from San Jose to Limon. Once in Limon follow the road to Cahuita and Puerto Viejo for another 27 miles (44 km). From Puerto Viejo keep on the road heading towards Punta Uva for about 10 minutes and you will see the sign for Hotel Suerre Caribbean Beach on the left. The road all the way from San Jose to Puerto Viejo is perfectly paved but at some points you will have to drive with caution.
