Driving from San Jose to Manuel Antonio can take about three and a half hours depending on traffic. From San Jose you get on the highway that takes you by the airport and leads you to Puntarenas, take the exit to Atenas and drive over the Aguacate hill, drive on through San Mateo, Orotina, Tarcoles, Jaco, Parrita and Quepos, in that order. From Quepos keep going another 4 miles or so and you will reach Manuel Antonio. Folllow the signs to Playa Espadilla; once there take a left at Marlin Restaurant. The hotel will be on your left hand side.
