Las Cabanitas Resort

If you depart from Juan Santamaria International Airport or downtown San Jose, there are 2 routes you can choose from, both have beautiful scenery. Get on the Pan American HWY heading north to the town of Grecia. Take a right when you spot the Grecia sign, drive into downtown Grecia. Upon arrival in the center of town you will spot a cute red church on your left hand side. Drive towards the back of this church by turning left and at the next corner take another left. Follow the road signs to Sarchi, once you arrive in this town drive on towards Naranjo. When you get to Naranjo follow the road signs through Zarcero, Ciudad Quesada, Tanque and La Fortuna. You can also choose to go the other way, to do so you take the Pan American HWY and drive towards San Ramon, pass through La Tigra, Chaguagua and La Fortuna. Take the exit to San Ramon and continue on into town, look for the road sign leading to San Lorenzo and La Tigra. Follow the road signs through Chaguagua and into La Fortuna. When you arrive at La Fortuna follow the road signs to Arenal Volcano or Las Cabanitas Resort.
