Location and Driving Directions

The Hotel Grano de Oro is located in San Jose the capital city of Costa Rica, in Paseo Colon. The hotel is at Calle (Street) 30 #251, between avenues 2 and 4, 1 ½ blocks (150 meters) south of Paseo Colon which is San Jose’s main thoroughfare. By car, you will be entering San Jose via the Interamerican Highway. If you arrive from Nicaragua and the north, you will find that the highway brings you first past the airport and the city of Alajuela, to the western edge of the downtown, right at the end of Paseo Colon, where it hits the Parque Sabana. This area is well marked with large road signs, which will either direct you to the downtown (Centro) or the western suburbs of Rhomerser, Pavas, and Escazu. If you're heading toward downtown, just follow the flow of traffic and turn left on Paseo Colon. The hotel is located on the main road of Paseo Colon.
