Four Seasons Resort Spa

The Four Seasons Resort Spa is located in the main lobby building with a separate entrance offering splendid views of the Pacific Ocean. The spa offers a complete range of massages and treatments designed to relax, rejuvenate, enrich and heal the body and soul. The spa uses ingredients unique to Costa Rica, such as mineral-rich rainforest mud taken from the nearby Osa Peninsula. The professionals at Four Seasons are dedicated to selecting botanicals from local plants, roots and fruits implementing indigenous recipes into the list of beauty and body ritual options. The facility consists of eight massage rooms, seven wet treatment rooms with shower, three facial treatment rooms and three pedicure stations. The services are available to guests 18 years and older. The hours of operation are everyday from 8:00am to 9:00pm.

This treatment uses local mineral-rich volcanic mud and sulphur rich spring waters.

Deep Ocean Purification Ritual

This detoxifying ritual uses sea salt and seaweed to increase circulation and blood flow. It adds nutrition and oxygen to the skin and decongests tissues. Massage and pressure point therapy deeply relax the muscles.

Energizing Renewal Ritual
90 Minutes
Fruit enzymes and herbs energize the body, exfoliating and stimulating rapid skin renewal, while energetic pressure point therapy and massage relieve stiff, sore muscles.

Still Water Harmonizing Ritual
90 Minutes
In this balancing ritual, shea butter, herbs, salt, sugar and botanical oils exfoliate, add deep hydration and repair the skin. Centering pressure point therapy and massage are used to complete this treatment.

Costa Rican Healing Stone Massage

Devised hundreds of years ago by the region's indigenous people, this ancient art uses healing elements of fire, water and earth to bring intense relief to sore muscles, stressed emotions and a weary spirit through the placement of warm river and volcanic stones on key magma points. This treatment's end result is a deep state of relaxation.

Aromatherapy Massage

A blend of essential oils primarily derived from healing plants is used to stimulate the body's immune system. This deeply relaxing massage benefits the physical, mental and emotional states.

Swedish Relaxing Massage

This full-body massage utilizes long, gliding hand strokes with a medium pressure to reduce tension, soothe sore muscles and increase circulation, creating an overall feeling of relaxation.

Deep Tissue Massage

This therapeutic massage focuses on specific areas, using a variety of techniques to promote the recovery of injured and strained muscles. This intensive treatment also increases flexibility and range of motion.

Osa Peninsular Rainforest Mud Mask

Rainforest mud, rich in trace minerals, has been used for centuries in Costa Rica for mud therapy. The body will benefit from the detoxifying properties of this wrap, as well as the absorption of highly nourishing minerals and vitamins.

Sea Mineral Detoxifying Body Mask

Pacific water, mineral-rich algae and seaweed combine to assist in the detoxification process. While you are cocooned, a warm oil scalp massage restores the mind, body and soul. Upon emerging from the wrap, skin will feel refreshed, toned and back to its natural state.

Cooling Cucumber and Aloe Wrap

Hydrating and cooling Aloe Vera gel and soothing lavender are applied to the body in this soothing wrap. It's Excellent for reconditioning and regenerating sunburned skin.

Multi-Fruit Regenerating Body Wrap

A treatment mask with natural fruit extracts of peach, pineapple, apple and guava facilitates the removal of dead skin cells while stimulating the regeneration of new cells. The application of grapefruit-mango body lotion leaves the skin soft, nourished and glowing.
