Location and Driving Directions

Hotel Casitas Eclipse is located in Manuel Antonio, less than a mile before the entrance to Manuel Antonio National Park. This part of Costa Rica is known as the Central Pacific Region and you can drive here from San Jose.

From San Jose you will need to take the Inter American Highway (Route 1). This road passes in front of the Juan Santamaria International Airport. 7.5 miles (12 km) past the Airport you need to make a right turn and follow the road to Atenas. This road will pass by the town of Atenas and Orotina, and after about 90 minutes you will reach Jaco, keep driving, this road will take you to Quepos. The distance between San Jose and Quepos is 108 miles (174 km). Once in Quepos you will need to take the road to Manuel Antonio. After 4 miles (6 km) of driving you will see a bar made from the fuselage of a Fairchild C-123 cargo plane. Hotel Casitas Eclipse is located right in front on this unique bar.
