At Casa Turire you will encounter aviary species such as the golden oriole, parakeet and toucan as you stroll through the fruit orchards and surrounding forest trails. A swim in the spring-fed pool refreshes you before a gourmet meal in the family-size restaurant. Around the area you can enjoy things such as hiking, bird watching, fishing, horseback riding or you can even visit the coffee plantations, as well as the Guayabo National Monument which is located right on top of the nearby volcanic peak and is one of the most important archeological areas and the biggest in size that has been discovered in the country.
