Location and Driving Directions

Hotel California is located in Manuel Antonio, Quepos, on the Pacific Coast of Costa Rica. The hotel is set 1 mile (2 km) along the 4 mile (7 km) Manuel Antonio/Quepos road. You can take a bus to Quepos from San Jose departing daily at 7:00 am, 10:00 am, 2:00 pm, 4:00 pm, and 6:00 pm. It will take around 4 hours to get to there by bus. Once in Quepos you can take a local bus or a taxi to Hotel California.

If you want to make it a quick ride to the hotel, you may take a domestic flight from the Juan Santamaria International Airport to Quepos. The flight duration is only 30 minutes, and from there you make take a taxi to the hotel.

If you are more adventurous and would like to travel by car from the Juan Santamaria International Airport or San Jose, take the Inter American Highway towards Puntarenas. Follow the signs to Jaco, and once past Jaco, signs will direct you to Quepos and Manuel Antonio, from where you take the main road to the Manuel Antonio National Park for about 1 mile (2 km). Turn left when you see the big sign for Hotel California. This drive will take you through the mountains and along the Pacific Coast. The driving time is approximately 3 ½ hours.
