Location and Driving Directions

The Best Western Jaco Beach Resort is located on the Central Pacific Coast of Costa Rica. Jaco Beach is a popular destination for many vacationers including Costa Ricans. Jaco is 3 miles (5 km) from Herradura Bay Marina, 12 miles (20 km) from the Carara Biological Reserve, 15 miles (25 km) from Tarcoles River Crocodile Safari, and 43 miles (70 km) from Manuel Antonio National Park.

You can travel by bus to Jaco. Express buses depart daily from San Jose at 7:00 am, 10:30 am, 1:00 pm, 3:00 pm, and 6:30 pm. The buses depart from the Coca Cola bus terminal at Calle 16 between Avenidas 1 and 3. It takes between 2 ½ hours and 3 hours to get there by bus.

If you are traveling by car from the Juan Santamaria International Airport or San Jose, take the Inter American Highway towards Puntarenas. Take the exit to Puntarenas and head south on the Costanera or Coastal Highway to Jaco Beach. Once in Jaco Beach you will see signs to the Best Western Jaco Beach Resort.
