Location and Driving Directions

Arenal Springs can be reached through 2 main roads from San Jose. The first option is to drive through Ciudad Quesada. First drive out of San Jose in the direction of the Juan Santamaria Airport and on towards the west. Follow the signs towards Naranjo and once in Naranjo turn right 2km. After you pass the center of Naranjo start following the signs to Zarcero, tne on towards Ciudad Quesada, Florencia and then at the end of the street at Florencia turn left and go towards La Fortuna de San Carlos. After La Fortuna continue for 5km and you'll see the hotel Volcano Lodge. Take the entrance to the left and after 500 meters you'll be at the Arenal Springs Resort.

The second way to get to the Resort is through San Ramon. Head west on the Interamerican Highway and follow the signs to San Ramon. There, turn right. 1 km later you'll be crossing the center of San Ramon, follow the signs to Bajo Rodriguez, then turn right and follow to Santa Clara, then onto La Fortuna. Again continue 5km, and after the Volcano Lodge turn left and 500 meters later you'll be at the Arenal Springs Resort.
