Day Activities

The Alta Hotel is a great location close to shopping centers and more. The Multiplaza Mall is just at 5 minutes from the hotel and it features department stores, restaurants, cinemas, souvenir shops, etc. In downtown San Jose you will find attractions such as the National Theater, the Gold and Jade Museums, and the Central Market.

Some of the activities you will be able to enjoy are whitewater rafting, and hiking. You can visit places such as the Poas Volcano, La Paz Waterfall Park which is surrounded by lush forests and waterfalls. Or visit the Arenal Volcano which is one of the most active volcanoes in the Americas.
