Continuing on southward from the beautiful city of Limon you will come across a stunning Caribbean coastal location that goes by the name of Westfalia. Even though this beautiful area has its shortcomings, such as the occasional shark found among the shimmering waves, strong tidal currents and occasionally dirty waters, it is still a fantastic place to visit. Surfers that visit Westfalia, besides being impressed by its beauty they also enjoy riding challenging left and right beach breaks that remain consistent all year long. The waves have a tendency to close out when the swell gets too big.
