Your journey begins with a 45-minute scenic drive from the Peace Lodge. Once you arrive, you will horseback ride along the Sarapiqui River, followed by the 15-platform tour that will zip you through the trees. This unique adventure combines all the adventure you’re looking for in a day in Costa Rica. Your journey begins with a guided boat tour along the scenic Sarapiquí River (watch out for the caimans, monkeys and bats along the way). Once you reach dry land, the horses will await you as you travel horseback to the towering canopy. The 15 platform tour will zip you through the trees as you venture deeper and deeper into the forest. Once you’ve worked up a hearty appetite, you will enjoy an authentic Costa Rican lunch before heading back to Waterfall Gardens. Not recommended for children under 7 years old.
