This tour departs from Almonds and Corals hotel, heading towards Manzanillo, a typical Caribbean fishing village located about 2 miles from the lodge. Beautiful golden and white sandy beaches will unfold before you along the gravel road, as well as cozy little Caribbean style houses. Gorgeous flowers and plants border the road, where you will also see different species of butterflies and birds. You can find a great variety of wildlife along the road, such as birds, toucans, sloth, monkeys and coatis. 380 different bird species have been identified in this area. Halfway down the road the biking group will stop at a local bar to sample a refreshing Costa Rican beer or soda. You can grab a small bite to eat, perhaps an appetizer. There will be a delicious tropical fruit platter to satisfy the appetite you will have worked up from the ride.
