The Canopy Tour is located 11km from Tamarindo Beach on the way to Avellanas- Playa Negra Beach in a town named San Jose de Pinilla. This system of cables and platforms was built under the highest quality standards required by the national authorities monitored by the I.C.T. The tour starts by picking up the clients at their respective hotel and then brings them to San Jose de Pinilla. When you arrive the guides prepare you for the zip line and harnesses you up. A safety briefing is given. Now your adventure through the tropical dry forest starts and the 10 platforms with 8 cables await you in the top of the trees. The sensation that you feel at the top of the trees is breathless and difficult to explain by words, but the view of this oasis gives you an idea of how the people take care of it as you fly in the highest part of the forest makes your adrenaline flow through your whole body. You can admire nature and possibly spot birds, monkeys and reptiles and learn about the tropical dry forest, as you reach as high 75ft on cables that goes from 120 to 600ft long.
