| The friendly indigenous people need to sell the handcrafts they produce and you have this fantastic opportunity to visit them at their home, to learn about their culture, their language, their clothing, architecture, and their way of life. A boardwalk, like a secret passage, will take you into the forest, while immersed among the breathtaking verdant vegetation, you will suddenly find the quaint Indian Village, and see a conically shaped hut boasting a thatched roof, called the Usure where the chief of the clan used to live, now a ceremonial place. The head of the family will explain their traditions, and the meaning of the different buildings. They will show you beautiful pieces of handcrafts including wooden furniture carved into stately animal forms, unique to this culture. You will be delighted with this Indian culture and the in-depth, up-close look you have the opportunity to experience. You will have the chance to acquire interesting, eclectic pieces that will be the center of any conversation back home. |
