| Passengers will visit the interesting Amubri, Bribri and Cachabri Indian Villages, located 3 hours from Puerto Viejo, heading into the Talamanca Mountain Range. In a private bus you will arrive at the serene Sixaola River, then you will cross the same river by boat. At 9:00 a.m. your exciting experience begins when you catch the public bus that the Indians use, to be transferred to the Amubri village. Once there you will visit the Communal house and receive a lecture from one of the Indian leaders. You will be delighted at this close encounter with a new culture. You can learn about their language, traditions and lifestyle. The indigenous tribes are very firendly and well known for their artistic crafts and wooden carvings. Around 2:00 p.m. we start our return to the Sixaola river and then back to the hotels. |
