Searching for Dolphins

Get on board a rustic carved log canoe and navigate along the coast of beautiful white sand beaches and clear blue waters. These are virgin beaches and remain unspoiled, as they are visited only occasionally by tourists. Tucuxi dolphins (sotalia fluviatilis) were identified and observed on the southern Caribbean coast of Costa Rica, north of their previously reported range. Tucuxi, bottlenose (tursips truncatus) and spotted (stenella) dolphins can be found on in this area. Since dolphins swim freely, guests cannot be assured that they will be able to see dolphins on every tour. Tourists that have been lucky enough to spot these playful creatures, speak highly of the experience. The waterscapes, colorful horizons and great company will keep you feeling at peace on the waves.  You will return to your hotel feeling refreshed and calmed.
