Playa Bonita Costa Rica
Playa Bonita is found not far from the picturesque city of Limon. This beautiful yellow colored sandy shore has much to offer to its visitors; apart from being easily accessible many come to admire the outstanding coral reefs along this coastline. Swimmers are cautioned to be very careful due to the fact that the iridescent waters found here have strong rip currents. Surfing is the most common aquatic activity practiced at Playa Bonita. The shallow depths of the sparkling waters produce a powerful point reef break that provides thick strong swells and a dangerous left. Seasoned surfers should have no problem with the challenges offered here, but rookies should probably find a different location. Playa Bonita waves are at their best during mid-tide.
