This exhilarating, full day adventure includes an incredible 4x4 drive which takes you on a journey into a very remote back country area of the Savegre River. This exciting, guided Rafting trip includes class II, III, and IV rapids that you can take head on in rafts built to hold 2 to 6 individuals. There are incredible swimming holes and a large variety of birds (ivory-colored egrets, lovely toucans, stunning osprey, talkative parrots, curious kingfishers, and majestic cormorants) that can be spotted among our primary rain forests. You will stop at some of the most spectacular waterfalls in the area with countless blooming heliconias found within this shady Garden of Eden. After doing some energetic rafting you will take a break in a little village called “Silencio” for a delicious Tico style lunch set in a thatched roof restaurant with great vistas of the African Palm plantations. |
