This Snorkeling and Hiking tour starts in a 12-person boat, with your captain and guide, around the Cahuita National Park. You will snorkel for about two hours in the most important Coral Reef of Costa Rica were you could see 35 different species of coral, 123 species of tropical fish, 3 species of sharks, eels, sea urchins, shellfish, crustaceans, sea turtles, sea cucumbers, ocean sponges, lobsters and shrimp. Snorkeling equipment will be provided (mask, fins and snorkel tube). After Snorkeling enjoy a tropical fruit snack and water before beginning the second part of the tour - hiking through Cahuita National Park with a naturalist tour guide. The guide will take you to different areas between Cahuita Point and the town of Cahuita (5 km) observing various types of snakes such as boas, bocaraca, bush masters and eyelash vipers, sloths, white faced and howler monkeys, anteaters, armadillos, raccoons, blue morpho butterflies among others, birds and plants including orchids, ferns, vertebrates and invertebrates.
