| Morning tour requires a minimum of 4 passengers.
This short, but exciting tour provides a glimpse of the rich Costa Rican culture and interesting history; visit beautiful museums and unique historical sites of San José. The tour begins with an orientation session and drive through the beautiful Sabana Park. Next, you will take a walk through the historic National Theater; the theater is an architecture masterpiece. You will be amazed with the numerous details taken into account when it comes to this fantastic building decor. Afterwards you will visit one of the many astounding museums to admire wonderful displays of historic objects, curious items and more. We will continue heading to the University of Costa Rica, the Supreme Court and various other sites of interest. A brief stop will be made in Moravia allowing you to browse through the beautiful craft shops located in this area before returning to your hotel. These shops are terrific, colorful little stores that sell more souvenirs than you could ever imagine; purchase wooden crafts, indigenous masks, clothing, coffee items, purses, chess sets, magnets, jewelry and much more! |
