Climbing means to ascend a wall, rappelling is the exact opposite, going down. A totally safe adventure and confidence builder, you will be hooked to a harness and a rappelling rope and will be able to lean back over the edge and walk down the wall. At all times a "belayer" will support you. After the first step, it’s all downhill, literally! Hacienda Pozo Azul offers 3 different alternatives set in exotic and beautiful scenarios for you to practice this challenging sport, you can try each one individually or a combination of them. This will be yet another Hacienda Pozo Azul adventure experience to remember forever! In short, you will descend a 90 foot Sarapiquí river canyon wall with safety ropes and equipment, while admiring a spectacular view of the confluence of the Sarapiquí and Pozo Azul Rivers. Schedules are flexible upon request.
This tour includes:
- Basic lesson and safety instructions.
- For your first descent a guide next to you doing coaching is offered (optional).
- You may repeat the rappel up to three times. |
