Paddle along the protected inland waterways of the Damas Estuary. This is a perfect place to explore as well as learn about the magical mangrove system that contains a plethora of wildlife. You paddle in a sit on top open kayak, under the shade of the tall mangroves. The pace of this trip is according to your abilities. You set the speed to where you feel comfortable. Keep you eyes open to sight quick-moving caimans, lazy sloths, majestic crocodiles, large boa constrictors, curious white face monkeys, elegant ivory-colored egrets, and many more tropical specimens. Refreshments are served part way through the trip and you will enjoy feasting upon a delicious lunch/dinner served at a typical Costa Rican style restaurant. |
