This horseback tour will take you 3 miles from La Fortuna to a point where you will let the horses rest under the shade of the trees. From here you will walk 500 yards into the forest to get to the waterfall. These falls are a great spot for a day trip. Plunging over 100 feet through the thick rainforest into a mist shrouded pool. La Fortuna Waterfall is a spectacular site to behold. The final descent to the falls is steep, but you will be rewarded. Once there, you will find a crystal blue pool, where you can swim.
