Enjoy the active Rincon de la Vieja Volcano as you hike through pristine trails. The tour starts the moment that you depart from your hotel in a comfortable air conditioned van. After a pleasant ride through northern Guanacaste you will arrive at Rincon de la Vieja National Park. The Park plays an important role in the conservation of river basins. In this area Nature gives birth to 32 rivers, including Colorado and Blanco rivers. Another attraction in the park is the steamy mud pots product of the constant volcanic activity. You will be close enough to feel the heat and the steam that rise from these formations. Hiking up the Rincon de la Vieja Volcano is a great experience for the entire family. As you hike the trails you will be able to see the exotic Guaria Morada (Cattleya skinneri), this orchid is Costa Rica’s national flower. This is a 2.5 hours guided hiking tour where your guide will point out interesting geological formations as you walk through the national park and he will answer any of your questions about the animals or plants that you will encounter during the tour. |

What to Bring: Hiking or running shoes, binoculars, camera, sun protection, sun hat and a copy of your passport showing your picture and the date of your arrival to Costa Rica.
