Pick Up Times: 9:30 AM, 11:30 AM, 2:30 PM.
You will rise early in the morning to embark on a 3 hour guided raft tour.You will explore the beautiful and rich fauna found at lower Sarapiqui River and its tributaries from the Braulio Carrillo National Park. Be sure to bring your camera along for the ride so you may capture the outstanding panoramic views and the curious exotic wildlife on film. This particular river is famous for being one of the most gorgeous rivers found in Costa Rica’s tropical rain forest; it extends for 35 km through lush forest reserves offering stunning vistas and excitement for all of those who travel these waters. The first 11 kilometer sector of the river boasts class for white water rapids appropriate for the expert and physically fit.The second sector features classic two and three white water rapids appropriate for beginners and intermediates. The last section of the river known as the lower Safari sector is full of wonderful enjoyment for everyone. Hacienda Pozo Azul offers all sections. Schedules are flexible upon request. |
