The interesting tour includes a terrific hike through the surrounding forest that is teeming with typical plant life and exotic birds. The picturesque hike concludes at a restful, emerald green, tropical lagoon. Next, you will tour the fascinating craftsman factories of Sarchí; where they build the famous oxcarts of Costa Rica. Handmade, the traditional oxcart, is the most famous type of craft in the country. Ordinarily admired for its decorative qualities, the oxcart plays a very important part in the cultural history of Costa Rica.
