This tour allows you to see the true essence of Costa Rica. The first stop is for breakfast at a local café. Next will be a third-generation coffee plantation which will show you how coffee is picked, milled, ground, and roasted. Once you’ve had a delicious cup of coffee, it’s off to the Poás Volcano. This huge crater volcano is one of our 4 active volcanoes. The crystal blue sulfur pools will amaze you along with the steam rising from the various vents. The last stop is La Paz Waterfall Gardens, a multi-million dollar nature park themed around 4 waterfalls accessed by professionally designed trails and viewing platforms. The park is in the mountains so be prepared for cooler temperatures if the clouds roll in. Your personal tour guide will take you through the butterfly observatory, the hummingbird garden and the waterfall trails. Also included is a typical Cost Rican style buffet lunch which includes a salad bar, seasoned chicken and beef, rice, sautéed vegetables, plantains, black beans, tortillas, French bread, juice, coffee and rice pudding.
